Utah is changing. fast.

Utah has swung D+24 since 2004 – more than any other state – and is now the least Republican it’s been in 50 years. In 2024, the Wasatch Front was the only major metro in the country not to shift right. Even Utah’s LDS voters are trending left: D+2 since 2020, while non-LDS voters nationally moved R+6. With fair maps, national investment, and generational change on the horizon, Utah is poised for real competition. The only question is whether we’ll seize the moment.
